My Sheets family goes through both my Great-grandparents, Perry Clayton & Emma Rowena Caldwell Gatewood. William Sheets was married to Elizabeth Henry(Emma's grandparents), his half brother George, Jr. was married to Anna Henry(P.C.'s grandparents). I do not know the name of George Sr. wife but have been given names that I have just to prove. Also, I am not sure the connection of Anna and Elizabeth Henry. I have been told they are sisters and have also been told they were cousins, still trying to prove which is correct.

To whom this may concern
Good morning! A women in the Probate Department of the Gallia County Court House suggested that I contact your genealogical organization to help me in my search for the will or estate papers of Thomas Wray who died in Gallia Co. on October 17, 1843.
My daughter Anna Sturgill Johnson desires to join the Daughter of the American Revolution, and needs to prove her blood line back to her Patriot ancestor. To that aim, possibly your organization could help us in our two year search. Below is a brief history.
Patriot Walter Neal fought in the American Revolution, his daughter Rachel Neal is proven to have married Thomas Wray. Thomas Wray died in Gallia Co. on October 17, 1843, Thomas Wray is the father of Rachel Wray, who married our ancestral grand father Alvin Sturgill.
Thomas Wray very likely left a will or estate papers naming heirs. Rachel and Alvin Sturgill (our ancestor) were married in Gallia County (marriage record on Ancestry.com) in 1841. I would sincerely like to know If your society has on record, Thomas Wray's will or estate papers that has Alvin or Rachel's name of it,as this will be the "proof" we need establishing a direct link to the Patriot from this couple.
Please let me know If you need payment for this search service and I will send the funds, I sure would appreciate it if you your organization can be of any help in any way in my search. Further if you are not able to find any paper work concerning this request, please let me know what other local organizations might have the information I am seeking.
You may contact me via the above e-mail address or call me at (360) 332-5742.Thank You.
Fair winds,  Richard
