Articles that are okay to publish:

1. News articles about historical events with local Gallia County interest from any time period are welcome if they don’t contain the names of specific individuals and there are no copyright issues.
2. Any article from a publication earlier than 1935.
3. Obituaries from any time period.
4. Articles from 1935 to the present can be considered only if a: it is determined by the Society that there is no personal information divulged that could be judged as an invasion of privacy, and b: there are no copyright issues.

Articles not okay to publish:

1. Copyrighted material unless permission has been obtained.
2. Articles less than seventy-five years old that contain information about the personal lives of named individuals.
