Couple Observes 60 Wedded Years

Mr. and Mrs. Ernest N. Wiseman, 7 Glendale Dr., Gallipolis, will observe their 60th wedding anniversary August 13. In celebration of the occasion, a family dinner will be held in their honor August 10, at Camp Francis Asbury, beginning at 1:oo.

The Wisemans lived in Rio Grande for many years and both were active in church and civic affairs there. Since moving to Gallipolis the Wisemans are still active in civic affairs and members of the Grace United Methodist Church.

Wiseman founded the Wiseman Agency in 1934, of which he is still president. He was awarded the Rotary's pin for 29 years of perfect attendance and is a director of the Ohio Valley Bank.

Mrs. Wiseman is the former Alice Clyse. She is a member of the D.A.R., the Elizabeth Circle and has been awarded a a pin for volunteering over 1,000 hours as a Red Cross Gray Lady at Holzer Hospital.

They are the parents of six children: Betty Brown, Minford, Ohio; Hope Davison, Richmondale, Ohio; Ike, Gallipolis; Roseana Rees, Rio Grande; John Pt. Pleasant, W. Va. and the late Harold Wiseman.They have 24 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.
