and microfiche for patrons. The lending fees, designated by the Genealogical
Society of Utah, are $5.50 per microfilm roll for a 30-day loan and $0.15

We order by FHL film number from the Family History Library catalog

Our Newest Lineage Society Honors Century Families
Do you have ancestors who lived in Ohio 100 years ago or more? You can
honor them by preparing an application to the newest OGS lineage society,
Century Families of Ohio, which recognizes the many immigrant families who
traveled to and settled in Ohio from 1861 to one hundred years prior to
application into the society.
Recognizing Ohio ancestors has always played an important role in the
history of OGS. The society currently offers several lineage societies:
First Families of Ohio, honoring the pioneers who first settled in Ohio
before 1820; Settlers and Builders of Ohio, honoring the second wave of
industrious pioneers who resided in Ohio from 1821 to 1860; and the Society
of Civil War Families of Ohio, paying homage to those with Ohio ties who
bravely served in the War Between the States.
Deadline for submitting an application to any OGS lineage group is
December 31 of the current year. Approved applicants for these societies
receive a certificate and pin at the annual OGS Conference.
The application form for the new lineage society will be available
shortly on the OGS website at <http://www.ogs.org> www.ogs.org; the others
are already available for downloading.
